Snell Tree Experts is now serving the Sanford area!

Tim “Bo” Snell spent many years in the classroom (both as a student, earning his M.A. in English from UNC-CH, and as an instructor of English at Campbell University) before his love of the outdoors and a desire to pursue the American Dream came calling.

 

So, in 1997, with an old Toyota Tacoma and a McCulloch chainsaw, Tim started “Tim’s Tree and Trim.” In no time at all, he was climbing trees and learning all he could about plants and trees in North Carolina. 

 

As the years passed, “Tim’s Tree and Trim” grew and evolved into Snell Tree Experts. Today, Snell Tree Experts is one of the few tree care companies servicing Wake and Harnett counties that offers consultations from ISA Certified Arborists, Tree Risk Assessments, and boasts a full-service Plant Health Care program.

 

Additionally, Snell Tree Experts is one of just a few TCIA Accredited companies in the country, meaning we must adhere to strict safety standards, ethical business practices, and compliance with federal and state regulations. 

 

While Snell Tree Experts has grown to have a full crew and PHC program, most days, you can still catch Tim out in the field meeting with clients, working out of the bucket, or grinding stumps. (Oh yes, he spends a lot of nights in our office doing paperwork, too.)
